The whole 12 hours of Series 1 of Sci-Fi show Battlestar Galactica is compressed into a series of stills corresponding to the moments where subtitles explain the action for hard-of-hearing viewers. They are read out as an abstract commentary by digitally manipulated voices which compete to make the inaudible heard.

Shown here is the pilot episode; the complete piece will take in all 4 series of the show and is being prepared for an installation at Collision, Area 10, in September 2008.
