Recent projects and productions
I have been involved in: Big Deal
The Big Deal Project is a multi-art
form project that uses dance, drama, visual art, music and
video to create a performance that addresses the issues that
affect young people today. For two years I have lead the video
and graphics design element of the project, including managing
the projection booth, creating a DVD of the event, designing
posters & flyers and facilitating video workshops with
the young people.
Sure Start Video Skills
Project
The Video Skills Project is
a Sure Start initiative for parents in Central Bermondsey,
that ran from Oct 05- July 06. In my role as project manager
I lead the training in film-making and editing skills, shooting
on location and interviewing techniques and worked alongside
the participants to create a video that evaluated the services
that Sure Start offers.
CLOD Project
CLOD (Creative Learning Outdoors)
was a Creative Partnerships Slough project which aimed to find
out how creativity could be stimulated by learning outdoors.
Held in Langley Park near Slough, I worked with pupils from
3 schools to record the different workshops, interviewed other
participants and created a 20 min video about the whole project
which was shown at the launch event.
Lea View Nursery
In January 2005, I made a film
about the regeneration of Lea View Nursery which was lead by
public artist Stephen.
Reflecting
the views of the staff, parents, and landscape artists leading
the project, the film charted the transformation of the nursery’s
outdoors area into a safe and beautiful space for the children.
The organisations involved, Freeform Arts Trust and The Learning
Trust have used the film on many occasions, at conferences,
event days and for marketing.
